Jaqueline & Hayden // Intimate Wedding at Urban Field House // Windsor, Ontario
Because your moments deserve to be felt, not just seen.
Jaqueline and Hayden’s love story began while working together at a movie theatre, and their adventures have only grown from there. From an unforgettable engagement in Italy to countless travels filled with excitement and exploration, these two are true adventurers at heart. But what stands out even more than their love for adventure is their genuine kindness and deep connection to their friends and family. When planning their wedding, Jaqueline and Hayden were determined to make the day all about their family and friends. They wanted their big day to be a true celebration of love, connection, and family—and that’s exactly what it was. Thoughtful personal touches filled every moment, and the night ended with a wild dance floor that perfectly captured the spirit of Jaqueline and Hayden’s unforgettable day.
Jaqueline and Hayden both got ready at their venue, Urban Field House, taking advantage of the venue’s convenient getting-ready rooms. This setup allowed for a relaxed, seamless timeline with no need for travel, creating a stress-free start to the day. Jaqueline shared meaningful moments with her bridesmaids and mom in the bridal suite, while Hayden enjoyed a laid-back morning with his groomsmen. The venue’s cozy, rustic atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for a calm beginning to their wedding day.
The first look moments were nothing short of heartwarming. Jaqueline shared an incredibly sweet and emotional first look with her dad before Hayden. Watching Jaqueline’s mom and bridesmaids from a distance, visibly moved by the sight, was such a beautiful moment! Then, Jaqueline and Hayden’s first look was everything you’d hope for—intimate and full of love and a perfect way to start the portrait session. Stay tuned for more portraits later on at the marina!
After capturing the first round of portraits at the venue, we headed to the Belle River Marina for a second round of photos. The marina was the perfect spot for both family portraits and additional wedding shots, offering a beautiful, natural setting that contrasted perfectly with the rustic charm of Urban Field House. The energy was so relaxed and fun—Hayden and Jaqueline were up for anything, even climbing the rocks for some unique, carefree portraits that really showcased their adventurous spirit. When I shoot at Urban Field House, I love going to a second location for photos, as it gives more variety and allows for capturing different sides of a couple’s personality. The Belle River Marina was the perfect choice to highlight Jaqueline and Hayden’s love in a more natural, playful setting.
The rustic charm of Urban Field House set the perfect backdrop for both Jaqueline and Hayden’s ceremony and reception. With its cozy, rustic vibe and newly added outdoor patio, the venue offered guests a beautiful space to mingle and enjoy the evening. The ceremony took place on-site, allowing everything to unfold seamlessly, and the reception was filled with laughter, joy, and really great food. The food at Urban Field House is always a hit with guests, and this celebration was no exception, keeping everyone satisfied and happy throughout the night.
For the majority of a wedding day, I take a documentary approach, quietly observing and documenting as the day unfolds. My focus is on the relationships, connections, and emotions shared between couples and their closest loved ones, creating timeless memories that truly capture the essence of their day. A huge part of that is capturing the beautiful, emotional moments as couples walk down the aisle, especially those shared with their parents!
A unique touch of the Jaqueline and Hayden’s day was their guest book—a custom corn hole board that friends and family signed, creating a keepsake filled with love and memories.
The rustic, romantic charm of Urban Field House provided the perfect backdrop for Jaqueline and Hayden’s ceremony and reception.
My favourite way to capture the energy of the night is by documenting the wild and energetic dance floor moments. Jaqueline and Hayden’s reception did not disappoint, as guests danced the night away, creating unforgettable memories filled with joy, laughter, and pure celebration!
As a wedding photographer, my goal is to capture the essence of the day in a way that truly showcases the couple's personalities. For Jaqueline and Hayden, it was all about highlighting the love and connection between not only them but also their friends and family. From the smiles that never left their faces to the energy that filled the air, every moment was a reflection of their easy-going and stress-free nature. It was clear from the very beginning that this was a day built on meaningful relationships and deep connections, and I’m so grateful to have been there to capture it all! Congratulations, Jaqueline and Hayden!
