Kierstyn & Webber // Windsor Wedding at Augustus 27 Caesars
Kierstyn and Webb’s wedding was a day filled with love, connection, and meaningful details that truly reflected their story. From the moment we began discussing wedding plans, it was clear how much thought had gone into making their celebration unique. When I arrived on the day of, it was so incredible to see all their hard work pay off, as every moment played out just as it was meant to - whether planned or unexpectedly!
Adding to the magic of the day, Kierstyn and Webb’s shared love for bowling—a family tradition for Webb’s side—was a delightful touch that I first witnessed during their engagement session at their favourite bowling alley. Family played a big role in both their relationship and their wedding day, making every moment feel both intimate and significant. Their wedding was the perfect blend of modern elegance and heartfelt emotion, all set against the stunning backdrop of Augustus 27 at Caesars Windsor.
Here to document your real-life feelings.
Kierstyn’s morning started at one her bridesmaid’s cozy home, surrounded by her closest friends and family. The room was filled with laughter and excitement as they helped her prepare for the big day. Kierstyn’s bridal look came together perfectly, capturing the sophisticated vibe of the wedding and setting the tone for an unforgettable celebration.
Webb spent the morning with his grooms party and closest family at Caesars Windsor in one of the hotel’s luxurious suites. This was the perfect spot for them to relax, suit up, and share some laughs before the festivities began. It was clear that Webber’s excitement was building, and he was counting down the moments until he could see his bride.
After the bride and groom both spent the morning getting ready, it was time for the first look! In a private and quiet moment, Webb turned around to see Kierstyn for the first time, and his emotions overflowed. Tears filled his eyes immediately! It was one of those raw, unfiltered moments that reminds you why these celebrations are so meaningful.
It was time to head to Augustus 27, the luxurious event space at Caesars Windsor. We couldn’t resist sneaking away for a few quick photos to capture the beauty of this stunning venue before the guests arrived. With its modern-industrial design and breathtaking floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the Detroit skyline, Augustus 27 is one of Windsor’s most sought-after wedding venues. Its all-indoor setting makes it perfect for weddings in any season. Fun fact: my sister also got married here in September 2023, making this venue hold an extra-special place in my heart!
The ceremony was a beautiful reflection of Kierstyn and Webber’s love for each other and their families. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows, leaving not a dry eye in the room. A fun and unique touch was the guest book—a voicemail station where guests could leave messages of love and well wishes as they arrived, creating a keepsake full of all their voices.
Before she walked down the aisle Kierstyn surprised everyone with a voice recording played overhead of her talking to her husband to be - expressing her love and excitement to be married, while building emotion all around.
As soon as they’d walked down the aisle, Kierstyn and Webb made way to the balcony for a spontaneous moment of pure joy and celebration. They couldn’t contain their happiness as they cheered out loud and embraced one another in the tightest, love filled hugs.
Before the ceremony, we had headed to Willistead Park, a popular location in Windsor for portraits. The lush greenery and elegant setting made it the perfect backdrop for Kierstyn and Webb.
Reception time was full of heartwarming speeches, drinks, hugs, and the joy of everyone coming together and connecting with one another. The highlight of the evening’s entrance was the bridal party's adorable introduction, complete with a banner proudly displaying Kierstyn and Webb’s new shared last name: SNOW. It was the perfect mix of fun and love to kick off the celebration!
As the sun set, we stepped outside for a quick set of evening portraits, with the Detroit skyline glowing beautifully in the background. Kierstyn and Webbe shared a few quiet, intimate moments together before heading back inside for some playful photos with a hotel luggage cart, adding a touch of fun to their unforgettable day.
One of the sweetest moments was hearing Kierstyn softly whisper to Webb, “I think this really is the best day of my life.” It was truly the sweetest moment.
Now it was party time! Kierstyn and Webber kicked off the festivities by cutting their cake. Afterwards, they moved into their first dance, followed by emotional moments dancing with their parents. The energy only grew as the night went on, with a lively dance floor and excitement that kept everyone on their feet until the very end.
It was truly an honor to capture Kierstyn and Webb’s wedding day! Reconnecting with familiar faces and witnessing the joy of their closest friends and family made it an especially meaningful day for me as a photographer. Thank you, Kierstyn and Webb, for trusting me to preserve these beautiful memories. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and endless adventures as the Snows!
